Parking and Getting Around Scarborough
Car Parking:
There are ample car parking spaces available and if your staying
for more then one day why not buy a period ticket, available in advance for
between two and seven days!
On street parking charges operate within Scarborough town centre
and free disc parking is available in the majority of streets outside the town
centre. Disc clocks are available from the tourist information centres, Council
offices and dozens of shops, garages, office and public buildings in the town.
If you are staying for a few nights, your accommodation provider will arrange
your parking, please enquire first.
People with disabilities are also welcome - spaces are set aside
for orange badge holders in most car parks and are exempt from on-street
parking charges.
If you are unsure about the restrictions that apply on the street
where you are parked the then check the signs sited at regular intervals along
each street or ring parking services on: 0800 - 0568458 9am -5pm Monday

Park & Ride:
If you don't want to park in town, Scarborough offers a park
and ride service giving you fast access to the centre of town. The service
operates 7am - to 7pm daily from Weaponess Valley Road car park. Car parking
is free and the cost of a single fare on the bus is 35 pence. Buses run every
10 minutes, dropping off at the seafront and town centre.
People with Disabilities:
The Disabilities Action scheme helps those with limited mobility
to make the most of their holiday by providing advice on where to eat, where
